READ THIS FIRST
The first step in
taking this course on line is to register as a student (if you are not
currently an NFA registered student). Once you are registered, read
the tutorial on how the training site works, this is important since
this site is somewhat NOT user friendly. You will have to wait
several hours after initial registration for your membership to be
verified before you can actually sign up for the course.
When you are accepted as an NFA on line Student you can then take the
on-line courses offered by NFA. be sure and follow instructions
and report any issues with the training to the Team training officer.
This course (Q534) is required training for all
NM-TF1 Members. Please provide documentation to the training
officer after you complete the course.

- This 10-hour self-paced, paper-based course is designed to
provide the basic awareness training to prepare first responders to
respond to incidents of terrorism safely and effectively. Students
who successfully complete the exam will be eligible for a National
Fire Academy Certificate of Training. Target Audience: Fire,
emergency medical, hazmat, incident command and law enforcement
responders.
